Course Content
This course includes the study of academic articles and research texts related to psychology. Academic writing techniques, article sections (abstract, introduction, method, results, discussion), and the use of academic language are covered. Students are expected to write short academic texts in English and deliver oral presentations. In addition, critical reading, text analysis, and basic academic discussion skills are developed.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to advance the academic and professional English proficiency of psychology students. It aims to enable students to read and critically analyze academic articles in the field of psychology. In addition, the course focuses on developing academic writing, presentation, and discussion skills. The course supports students in effectively using international academic sources.
