Course Content
In this course; basic concepts related to communication process, communication skills, beginning and development of interpersonal relationships, listening during the communication, self-disclosure, empathy, non-verbal communication, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence and basic counseling skills are lectured.
Objectives of the Course
The objectives of this course are to know the verbal and non-verbal elements which are important in interpersonal communication; student own individual, environmental and societal- based characteristics which are effective in the interpersonal relations, and to develop awareness about them
