Course Content
This course covers risk, uncertainty, the concept of insurance, types of insurance, insurance contracts, the insurance value chain, digital insurance, InsurTech, big data, artificial intelligence, data security, protection of personal data, cyber risks, cybersecurity, cybersecurity governance, the scope, coverage structure, insurability and claims practices of cyber risk insurance.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to understand basic insurance concepts, the functioning of the insurance sector, digital insurance practices, cyber risks, cybersecurity approaches and the basic structure of cyber risk insurance.
