Program Educational Objectives

The primary objective of the Department of Islamic Economics and Finance is to educate students as professionals, managers, or entrepreneurs who can work in institutions and organizations that operate with consideration for economic, social, cultural, and environmental dimensions, and who are capable of making decisions in accordance with Islamic principles, possess ethical responsibility, and have a strong command of the participatory finance system. Graduates of this program will enter the professional world as individuals equipped with the knowledge and skills required to work in interest-free financial institutions, participation banks, insurance and pension companies, consultancy firms, and public institutions.

 

  1. To possess both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Islamic Economics and Finance, and to be able to utilize this knowledge effectively.
  2. To identify issues, collect and evaluate data, analyze and interpret findings, and develop solutions by using the knowledge, skills, and competencies gained in the field of Islamic Economics and Finance.
  3. To access various sources of information related to Islamic Economics and Finance and to conduct numerical analysis and research.
  4. To work effectively both individually and in intra-disciplinary, multidisciplinary, or multicultural teams.
  5. To act with ethical values and a sense of professional responsibility.
  6. To be aware of the universal and societal impacts, as well as the legal consequences, of practices in the field.
  7. To communicate effectively in written and spoken form in the language of instruction and to possess knowledge of at least one foreign language.
