Course Content
Fundamental principles of Islamic finance, interest-free banking systems, sukuk markets, the functioning of participation banks, Islamic insurance (takaful), risk management, ethical finance, innovations in Islamic financial markets, and case studies.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to examine fundamental literature in the field of Islamic finance, providing students with the ability to understand and evaluate both theoretical and practical aspects of Islamic finance. The course will focus on interest-free finance, sukuk, participation banking, risk management, and ethical finance by analyzing key texts in contemporary literature.
