Course Content
Fundamentals of Keynesian macroeconomic theory, effective demand and aggregate demand, employment theory, price and wage rigidities, Keynesian cross model, monetary and fiscal policies, IS-LM model, Phillips Curve, modern Keynesian approaches, and the role of Keynesian economic policies in contemporary economic crises.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to understand the fundamental principles of Keynesian economic theory, analyze it in comparison with classical and neoclassical economic thought, and evaluate its impact on contemporary macroeconomic policies. The course aims to provide students with a comprehensive perspective on the components of the Keynesian model, employment, inflation, monetary and fiscal policies.
