Course Content
The structure of the financial system and financial institutions, financial instruments, the concept of money, its functions, monetary systems, the money market, money supply and demand, the concept of interest, non-bank financial institutions accepting deposits, non-deposit financial institutions, the concept of insurance, its functions and operation, the concept of investment companies, their functions and operation, and mortgage-backed real estate finance.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide financial managers with basic knowledge on international money, bond and stock markets, foreign exchange markets, international portfolio investments, exchange rate and country risk, and to help them acquire practical skills.
