Course Content
This course is designed to analyze environmental issues such as sustainable development, environmental protection, combating environmental pollution, and climate change. The course will address the implications of these topics for the manufacturing sector from economic and political perspectives. Air, water, and soil pollution, waste management, climate change negotiations in Turkey and the world, and developments in carbon markets will be discussed in detail.
Objectives of the Course
The aim is to provide the necessary theoretical knowledge to enable students to conduct activities and implement practices that are consistent with sustainable development principles, address environmental problems, and are sensitive to the consumption of natural resources. Throughout the course, the concept of sustainability will be explained through models, criteria, and future implications.
