Course Content
The processes of production, transmission, distribution and retail sale of energy, institutions and organizations involved in these processes shall be evaluated from the legal point of view and legislation, administrative and penal sanctions related to energy law, market arrangements related to energy, competition and contract regulations shall be dealt with within the general principles of law.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to give information about the energy market and the legal rules governing this market. The basic concepts of regulation will be briefly discussed. Then, the basic concepts of the electricity markets and the structural characteristics of the markets will be analyzed. By defining the differences between licensed and unlicensed electricity generation, contracts, administrative and penal sanctions will be transferred to the students together with the possibility of competition.
