Course Content
The content of this course starts with the basic concepts of decision making process, decision types and models. Topics such as information management, risk and uncertainty analysis in decision making processes are discussed. Analytical tools, heuristic decision making methods, group decision making dynamics, leadership influence and ethical decision making are also covered. In addition, students will be prepared for different scenarios by learning topics such as strategic decision-making processes in business life, irrational decision-making errors and psychological obstacles encountered in the decision-making process.
Objectives of the Course
This course aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of managerial decision-making processes and to develop effective decision-making skills. The course comprehensively covers how individual and group decisions are shaped, how managers can produce solutions in complex and uncertain situations, analytical and intuitive decision-making approaches. Students gain the competence to manage the problems they may encounter in the business world more consciously by acquiring knowledge-based, ethical and strategic decision-making skills.
