Course Content
This course covers a wide range of topics essential for effective management and organisational performance. Beginning with an overview of management theory and its evolution, students will examine key concepts such as strategic planning, organisational structure, leadership styles and human resource management. Students will explore various approaches to managing change, innovation and diversity in organisations, emphasising the importance of adaptability and flexibility in today's globalised economy. Through case analyses, group projects and interactive discussions, students will apply theoretical frameworks to real-world scenarios, developing their ability to diagnose problems, formulate strategies and implement solutions to enhance organisational effectiveness and sustainability.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles, theories and practices in the field of management, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage and lead organisations in a dynamic and competitive business environment. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical case studies and experiential learning opportunities, students will develop the critical thinking abilities, problem solving skills and ethical decision-making abilities necessary for managerial success.
