Course Content
Basic acoustic and vibration concepts, Determination of sound power level and orientation of sound sources, Propagation of sound in outdoor environment, Noise and noise control in living spaces, Sound absorbing materials and silencers, Interaction of sound with structure, Fluid-borne sound and noise, Vehicles, buildings and collective life noise and vibration criteria for fields, noise and vibration levels in machines, vibration and noise control in electric motors, vibrations and noise in gear wheels.
Objectives of the Course
1-gaining theoretical and applied basic knowledge on noise and vibrations,2-Giving acoustic noise and vibration measurement and evaluation methods,3- controlling acoustic noise and vibration using these techniques.
