Course Content
The place of the Turkish language between the languages of the world and the historical circuits of the Turkish language. Rules on voices and classification in Turkish, Turkish for sound characteristics and sound information. The construction attachments and application of Turkish, general information on composition. Plan and application to use in writing compositions.
Objectives of the Course
To be able to use Turkish properly and beautifully through written and oral narrative in terms of language-thought connection and to dominate a unifying and integrative language in teaching is to raise young people with native language consciousness.

| 2 | Types of written expression: Article. General information about articles. Explanation of how to prepare and write an article. Reading various article examples. Preparing an article on the topic "The Development of Language Awareness, Language Pollution, and Atatürk's Understanding of Language". |
| 3 | Types of written expression: Essay, criticism, anecdote, and interview. Examination of the characteristics of these genres and sample excerpts. |
| 4 | Narrative writings: Short stories. Examples of short stories from Turkish literature. |
| 5 | Essays on novels: The novel. Definition, subject matter, elements, and types of the novel. Examples of novels from Turkish and world literature. |
| 6 | Emotional writings: Poetry. Reading examples of poems by some well-known poets in Turkish literature and fostering the pleasure of reading and listening to poetry. |
| 7 | Types of written narratives related to daily life: travelogues, memoirs, and diaries. Reading and examining sample excerpts from these genres. |
| 8 | Letters are a type of written expression. The relationship between letters and daily life. How to use this type of communication via email. Reading sample letters from Turkish literature. |
| 9 | Types of oral presentations: Conference, symposium, congress, and interview. Preparation of a conference example on topics such as youth issues, the importance of love and tolerance, etc. |
| 10 | Discussion-based narrative types: Panel, forum, open discussion. An open discussion on topics such as modernization and secularism, democracy and the republic, etc. |
| 11 | Scientific research methods. Selection and delimitation of the topic. Preparation of a sample plan and conducting a literature review accordingly. |
