Traditional Turkish Arts

The Department of Traditional Turkish Arts aims to train self-sacrificing craftsmen who have assimilated our traditional arts in their historical development, who are experts in education, training, research, and practical applications, who are willing to transfer what they know to the young people of our society.

To train dynamic, entrepreneurial, elegant people who do not compromise their art in any environment, who can produce solutions to problems, who can integrate national identity with national values, who are sensitive to historical and artistic values, who respect ethical values, who follow and use developing technology. To train artists who can represent our country and nation in every environment with their cultural and artistic background. To contribute to the education army of our country in this way.

It is one of the areas where our nation's understanding of art is reflected in Turkish plastic arts. Handicrafts are uniquely designed, the material used, the technique applied, shaping and style, with its features, reveals the creativity of the nation to which it belongs.
