Course Content
The types of looms used in weaving are introduced, the warp preparation on the loom and the knitting process are taught,
Objectives of the Course
By teaching the varieties in our traditional carpet art, analyzes of a determined variety and local carpets will be made. A sample of the analyzed carpets will be selected, size and quality calculations will be made and designs will be created and applied. Weaving loom, its types, loom warp stretching processes and knotting techniques will be taught. It will be taught by applying the Turkish knot technique. The designed patterns will be woven. In addition, different designs and applications from the selected regions will be continued.
