Course Content
In the 18th century the famous calligraphers and calligraphy , calligraphy in the 19th century and famous calligraphers , Mustafa Altitude and school , and school Mahmoud Celâleddin will be examined and differences between schools will be analyzed . Kadıasker Mustafa Izzet Efendi Sefik guys , Propulsion master, Sami Efendi Nazif Bey, Hasan Riza Efendi calligraphy and famous calligraphers of the 20th century , St. master, Ismail Hakki Altunbezer Kamil Akdik , M. Halim Özyazıcı and Hamid Aytaç be introduced and writings It will be examined and discussed.
Objectives of the Course
1. To give information about the state of the art of calligraphy in the Early Ottoman period, To present classical Ottoman calligraphy and the main calligrapher of this period, To give information about Divani and Celi Divani calligraphy, To present the features of Talik calligraphy and principles Talic methods.
