Course Content
The course covers the history of writing the Quran, one of the most important topics in calligraphy, as well as the lives, art, and works of prominent calligraphers of the classical period, and the Medresetü'l-Hattatin era, where calligraphy education was institutionalized. Throughout the course, students practice writing aesthetics and letter shapes through continuous weekly practice sessions.
Objectives of the Course
The aim is to ensure that they master the historical process of Qur'anic calligraphy; learn about the lives, art, and works of great masters; and write the letters correctly and aesthetically through practice exercises.
