Course Content
Giving general information about season trends, home textile fabric collection
Objectives of the Course
In textile design, it covers the examination of concepts such as weaving design technique, fabric structure, production methods, color, knitting type and the application stages of these concepts by developing a method. In this context, it is aimed to make practical applications on dobby weaving looms. Warp-reinforced, weft-reinforced and both warp and weft-reinforced weaving structures from woven fabric construction techniques are examined. . The creation and application stages of the designs for home textile and clothing dobby woven fabric design on paper and with computer support also constitute the content of the course. While these designs are being created, a current theme is analyzed in terms of woven fabric design. In this context, it is aimed to transform the sketches into designs and to develop new designs for clothing and home textiles in woven fabrics and turn them into products.
