Objectives of the Course
Introducing vegetable dyeing by comprehending the differences between dye, dyestuff, natural dye and vegetable dye. Teaching botanical science and colors obtained from plants. Introducing the plants used in painting (safflower, walnut, madder, buckthorn, onion, apple, chamomile, elderberry, pomegranate, indigo). Teaching herbal dye preparation methods. Giving information about extract preparation.
