Course Content
Interpret the physical properties of the soil and performing foundation design according to earthquake regulations. Conduct bearing capacity analysis, settlement analysis and liquefaction analysis. Taking necessary precautions in terms of structural stability in poor quality soil.

Designing the foundation and deep excavation support system by using the soil parameters and building information obtained from soil surveys in the construction area

1 Giving general information about the project and delivering the project
2 Determination of soil classes system (USCS) for each borehole using test results, drawing of variation graphs of SPT numbers, preparation of drilling log, determination of soil profile
3 Designing the sheeting wall (anchored pile curtain)
4 Performing analysis of bearing capacity and settlement of raft foundation
5 Performing liquefaction analysis
6 Performing bearing capacity and settlement for single piles and group piles
7 Giving design data of project
