Course Content
Earthquakes: Characteristics of Earthquakes and Earthquake Parametres, Earthquake Account of Simple Structures, Account and Usage of Elastic and Account Spectra, Equivalent Static Method, Modal Spectral Calculation, Earthquake Regulations, Ductile Structure Design and Importance, Fundamentals of Reinforced Concrete, Steel and Prefabricated Structures, Other Passive and Active Methods in Durable Structural Design, Earthquake Damage in Structures, Repair and Strengthening of Existing and Damaged Structures.
Objectives of the Course
To teach the principles of depressive structure design and repair and strengthening principles and to introduce earthquake regulations.
