Course Content
Introduction to traffic engineering, roads and their geometric features, the tasks of the road and its components, traffic planning and traffic studies, horizontal and vertical markings, signal timing and design, measurement of vehicle-induced noise, reduction of private automobile use, traffic calming, impact of urban transport on traffic , driver and pedestrian behavior in traffic, traffic accidents and accident analysis
