This program aims to provide students with practical knowledge and skills in conducting scientific research. It is intended to prepare them for the Doctoral program by fostering the ability to write a Master's seminar paper and thesis, as well as by developing their skills in scientific research through the Master's thesis.
In this program, students will acquire the skills of recognizing original sources, utilizing them, organizing information, and writing articles and theses by evaluating them. They will also become familiar with the archives in Turkey and learn how to utilize them, particularly the Manuscripts in Konya, which served as the capital for the Seljuk Empire, as well as libraries and primary sources with significant value.
Through the scientific studies assigned to the Master's students, they will gain the ability to understand, critically evaluate, and interpret the sources they utilize. Additionally, during the implementation of the Master's program, the faculty members will have the opportunity to renew themselves and enhance their skills, contributing to the development of new methods.
