Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering with Thesis
Applicants to the program must have a minimum numerical score of 55 on the ALES score. They must also pass the written and/or oral exams administered by the Department of Industrial Engineering. Students who apply for the thesis-based master's degree within the application period announced for each semester are eligible to take the exam, which will be held on the dates determined by the Institute and announced in advance. The exam is administered orally and/or in writing by a committee formed by the Department of Industrial Engineering. Following the evaluation of the exam results, the Institute publishes the list of accepted candidates on the bulletin board and on the Institute's website. A General Success Score (GBP) is calculated to determine a candidate's success, and candidates are ranked based on this score. The application is evaluated out of 100 points. The total score is calculated by taking 50% of the ALES score, 30% of the written and/or oral exam, and 20% of the graduation score. Candidates are ranked starting from the highest score out of 100 points.
