Program Qualifications
Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) are the those describing what the graduates are expected to attain or achieve in their academic and/or professional life after a few years of graduation. In this context, Programme Educational Objectives defined for this programme are as follows:

P1) Develops and deepens her knowledge of the concepts, institutions and methods of the field of public law and its sub-disciplines at the level of expertise.
P.1.1) Develops knowledge of the concepts of public law and solutions to problems in this field at an expert level.
P2) It establishes a connection by understanding the interaction between concepts, institutions and methods belonging to the fields of social sciences closely related to the field of public law.
P3) She/He uses the expert knowledge she/he has acquired in the field of public law and its sub-disciplines in the analysis of issues and problems related to legal theory and practice.
P.3.1) She/He uses her/his expert knowledge in the field of public law in the analysis of theoretical and practical issues and problems in this field.
P4) She/He can evaluate and interpret the expert knowledge she/he has acquired in the field of public law and its sub-disciplines together with information from different disciplines and create new knowledge based on these.
P5) Solve the problems encountered in legal theory and practice by using research methods specific to the field of law.
P6) He/She evaluates the expert knowledge and skills he/she has acquired in the field of public law and its sub-disciplines with a critical approach and directs his/her learning.
P7) He/She systematically conveys the expert knowledge he/she has acquired in the field of public law and its sub-disciplines and current developments in legal theory and practice, both orally and in writing, to groups in his/her field and outside the field.
P.7.1) It explains the current theoretical and practical developments in the field of public law and systematically conveys them to its interlocutors, both verbally and in writing.
P8) He/She critically questions legal concepts and institutions, established legal practice and legal rules, and takes initiatives to develop and change them when necessary.
P.8.1) Acquires the ability to critically evaluate public law concepts and institutions, established legal practice and legal rules.
P9) Can follow information in the field of law and communicate with colleagues by using a foreign language at least at the European Language Portfolio B2 General Level.
P10) Uses advanced information and communication technologies along with computer software at the level required by the field of law.
P11) Internalizes social, scientific and ethical values in the processes of acquiring, processing and evaluating information regarding the field of public law and its sub-disciplines.
P.11.1) Internalizes the need to comply with scientific and ethical values in the processes of obtaining, processing and evaluating information in the field of public law.
P12) Independently carries out a study that requires expertise in the field of public law and its sub-disciplines.
P13) It develops new strategic approaches to solve complex problems that are unpredictable and require expertise encountered in the field of public law and its sub-disciplines, and produces solutions by taking responsibility, and leads studies towards this goal.
P14) He/She develops the understanding of honesty, justice and ethics that being a lawyer requires and teaches it to his/her circle.
