Course Content
Karatay Medresesi, öğretim kadrosu, vakfiyesi ve mimari hususiyetleri hakkında kısaca bilgi. Medeniyet ve kültür kavramları, medeniyetin doğuşunu hazırlayan temel unsurlar. Türk-İslam medeniyetinin temel kaynakları, Türk-İslam medeniyetinin kurucu unsurları, Türk- İslam medeniyetinin bazı yansımaları.
Objectives of the Course
Büyük bir medeniyetin kurucusu olan milletimizin insana verdiği değer, adalet konusunda gösterdiği titizlik, dinamizm, farklı kültür ve inançtaki topluluklarla müşterek yaşama tecrübesi gibi hususların güncellenerek, tefekkür eden, üreten ve insan ortak paydasında bütün insanlığa hizmet etmeyi idealize eden bir şuur oluşturmak.
Üniversitemizin adının ilham kaynağı olan Karatay Medresesinin kurucusu ve büyük Türk devlet adamı Celaleddin Karatay'ı ve ilim-irfan merkezi olan Karatay Medresesini tanıtarak, "Medreseden Üniversiteye"anlayışıyla köklü ve derin bir medeniyetin mensubu olduğumuzun hatırlanması.
Türk milletinin temel değerlerinden olan Ahiliğe ait; meslekî hassasiyet, ticarî işlerde dürüstlük, hak ve hukuka riayet, şefkatli olmak, yardımlaşma duygusunu geliştirmek, güler yüzlü olmak ve özgüven sahibi olmak gibi davranışlar kazandırmak.
