Course Content
Within the MES laboratory, students perform data collection from production processes, analyze data, design interfaces, establish alarm and warning systems, integrate sensors and actuators, and evaluate and improve system performance. The interaction between MES software, SCADA, sensor networks, and reporting systems is observed and analyzed.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to apply the theoretical knowledge gained in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within a laboratory environment. Students experience data collection, monitoring, analysis, and reporting processes in real or simulation-based production setups to understand the overall operation of MES systems.
