Course Content
Introduction and introduction of the course, Structures responsible for entering the vestibular system and maintaining balance, Anatomy and physiological foundations of the peripheral and central vestibular system, Evaluation of the patient with peripheral and central vestibular disease, Dizziness and balance disorders and their general classification, diseases, Peripheral and central vestibular system diseases, Psychogenic problems causing dizziness, Other groups of dizziness and balance disorders (cervicogenic, internal etc.), Physical problems of patients with dizziness and balance problems, Mechanism of central compensation in balance disorders, Vestibular rehabilitation for various pathologies methods, Homework presentations, Vestibular treatment protocol in Bppv disease; includes topics.
Objectives of the Course
By looking closely at the recovery processes of the disease in patients with balance disorder, to understand the basic mechanisms about the continuation of the treatment and to ensure that the appropriate exercise program is comprehended for the patients.
