Course Content
Basic concepts and research areas related to biomechanics, forces, leverage systems, applications and clinical examples. Mechanical and mechanical principles of bone, muscle, collagen and cartilage, mechanical properties and pathomechanism, properties of joints, normal and pathological walking
Objectives of the Course
To define the basic terms and principles of biomechanics is to present a biomechanical point of view, to give examples and to discuss the situations physiotherapists encounter in the clinic. It is aimed to gain knowledge about the normal kinesiology and biomechanical properties of the locomotor system and its pathomechanics.
