Course Content
Hastayı değerlendirme ve program geliştirmek için yaklaşımlar, egzersiz tedavisinin amaçları, etkileri ve prensipleri, egzersizin sınıflandırılması ve egzersiz programının planlanması, normal eklem hareketindeki problemleri belirleyerek, problemlere yönelik egzersiz programının planlanması ve uygulanması, farklı postural problemlerde egzersiz programlarının planlaması ve uygulamaların öğrenilmesi.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course; to teach the necessary approaches for evaluating the patient and developing the program in different age groups, to teach the aims of exercise therapy, to classify the exercise and to plan the exercise program, to gain the ability to prepare the proper exercise program by determining the factors affecting normal joint motion, problem solving in the postural disorders determined according to the basic evaluation and measurement methods and improve the ability to create an exercise program.

1 | Introduction to therapeutic movements, assessment of needs, developing a plan, implementing the plan and the goals of exercise therapy. |
2 | Classification of exercise, movement types, muscle contraction types, planning and progression of exercise program and benefits of exercise. |
3 | Definition of normal joint movement, the effects of passive, active, active assisted and active normal joint movement and practical application. |
4 | Factors affecting muscle strength, types of muscle strength, basic principles of strength training, types of muscle contraction, strength training program planning, resistance exercise methods and practical training. |
5 | Definition of the concept of stretching, stretching types, stretching purposes, indications-contraindications, various stretching methods to be applied. |
6 | The concept of relaxation, objectives, body systems related to stress and relaxation, findings of relaxation, practical relaxation training. |
7 | Midterm |
8 | Postural problems, bad posture, lordotic posture, flatback, swayback and kyphotic posture concepts, causes and practical training of exercises to be used in the solution. |
9 | The concept of scoliosis, classification of scoliosis, evaluation of scoliosis, functional and structural scoliosis exercises. |
10 | Teaching lower extremity problems related to posture, muscles to be stretched and strengthened and related applications. |
