Gerontology nursing, theories of aging, Age-Related Changes in System Functions and Nursing Care, Mental Health Problems and Nursing Care, Pharmacotherapy, Geriatric Syndromes, Psychosocial Needs and Health Care Organizations in the Elderly, Ethical and Legal Issues in the Elderly, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Elderly Life Quality
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course; To provide students with sufficient knowledge and skills in geriatric nursing. In addition, it is to describe the theory and concepts of aging, problems related to the process, physiological and psychological changes, learning appropriate nursing interventions, and explaining the legal and ethical dimensions in elderly care.
