Course Content
Thermodynamic background of phase diagrams. Use of phase diagrams in metallic materials. Fe-C equilibrium diagram. Phase Transformations. Steels and cast irons. Heat treatment. Corrosion. Electrical, thermal and optical properties.
Objectives of the Course
To provide students with information about phase diagrams and phase transformations. Obtaining information about the concept of corrosion. Teaching iron alloys. Teaching thermal, electrical and optical properties.
