Course Content
The concept of neighborhood in the filtering of temporal and spatial signs, the concept of selectivity in frequency, relations between analog and digital filters, transition from differential equations to difference equations, various approximation methods and interpretations from different angles, FIR filters, moving average and comb filters, low pass, high pass and band pass filters, median filters, IIR filters, FIR filter design and implementation, IIR filter design and implementation, FIR and IIR filter applications, adaptive filters
Objectives of the Course
To teach basic and advanced digital filter design methods, to learn the concepts learned in Matlab development environment and to provide students with the ability to design digital filter systems.
