Introduction to Measurements, Instrument Types and Performance Characteristics, Sensors Technologies, Basics of Statistics, Error during Measurement Process, Noise in Measurements & Signal Processing, Basic Mechatronics Instruments for Measurement, Variable Conversion Elements.
Objectives of the Course
This course aims to is to build the knowledge of undergrad students with fundamentals of measurement systems. The course will introduce the measurement instrument types and their performance characteristics. In addition, many sensors that used for measurements including errors and noises will be described. The main core of the course is statistics which is very important science for measurements due to using huge amount of data.
