Course Content
General principles of amplifier design, introduction of scattering parameters and their use in amplifier design, high frequency transistors and passive elements, broadband impedance matching technique, high frequency oscillator design methods, RF and microwave mixers.

1 Introduction, the importance of high frequency circuit design, the size and units used, the frequency spectrum.
2 High frequency behavior of passive elements (resistance, coil, capacitor), the importance of passive elements on the fracture in high frequency circuit design.
3 Examination of transmission lines.
4 Microstrip transmission lines.
5 The use of Smith Ages in the strengthening design.
6 Noise concept and low noise amplifiers.
7 Introduction and use of high frequency simulator.
8 Explanation of impedance matching techniques.
