Objectives of the Course
To introduce fundamentals of Java programming, program design and problem-solving as well as Java programming technologies for Java applets and graphical user interfaces (GUIs). To familiarize students with the basics of Web application development using Java for building browser-based applications that require Web access to server-based resources. To give an overview of the Java-based mobile programming with Java Micro Edition (Java ME) and Android SDK.
