Course Content
This course covers the fundamental topics of financial management, including financial statement analysis, budgeting and forecasting, capital budgeting, and risk management. Students will explore the principles of corporate finance, investment analysis, and portfolio management. The course also includes in-depth examination of financial markets and instruments, time value of money, cost of capital, and capital structure. Through a combination of case studies and hands-on exercises, students will gain experience in financial decision making and strategic financial planning.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the Financial Management course is to equip students with a solid foundation in financial principles and practices necessary for effective decision making in business. The course aims to enable students to manage financial resources efficiently by developing their understanding of financial planning, analysis and control. Students will learn to evaluate financial performance, make strategic investment decisions and understand the impact of financial policies on organizational growth and stability. At the end of the course, students will be prepared to contribute to the financial success of their organizations through conscious and strategic financial management.
