Course Content
The emergence of Islamic thought, Turkish-Islamic thinkers and their effects on the West. Change in Turkish-Islamic thought and Westernization problem. Turkish thought in the Republican period.
Objectives of the Course
To examine the development of political thought in the classical period of Islam from the rise of Islam to the modernization period.
