Course Content
General characteristics of the Turks' education before accepting Islam. Educational understanding of Turkish-Islamic thinkers and their effects on Turkish society. Educational movements in the Seljuks and the Ottomans. Innovation studies in Ottoman education system. Tevhid-i Tedrisat and education in the Republican period.
