Course Content
Prime Ministry Ottoman Archive and Land Registry Cadastre Kuyud-ı Kadime Archive will be introduced and sample documents will be given. Ottoman historiography between 1300-1700 and the works of historians will be examined.
Objectives of the Course
To enable the students to read the Ottoman archives easily and to understand the Ottoman historiography.
