Course Content
Persian, Hellenistic, Part, Sasani political history. Persia-Greece and Macedonia; Parts and Romans, Parts and the East; Sasaniler-Romans-Byzantians and East. The appearance of the Safevi State at the beginning of the XVI. century. Ottoman-Safevi political relations, its effects on Turkish society.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to examine the historical and cultural structure of Iran until the new age.
