Course Content
Palace and government organization, divans, provincial and military organization, social life, cultural institutions, religious politics, agriculture and animal husbandry, caravanserais and trade, medicine in the Great Seljuks and Seljuks of Turkey. Science and scholars in the Seljuks, their works. Divan-ı Lügati't- Türk. Nizamülmülk and Siyasetname, works of Ibn'ül Cevzi, Sıbt ibn'ül Cevzi, Beyhaki, Ibni Bibi. Mevlana and Mevlevism, Shams-i Tebrizi, works of Sheikh Sadreddin Konevi. Ahmet Eflakî, Menakibül Arifin.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to ensure that the students have knowledge about the Seljuk state organization and civilization.
