Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to examine the period after the conquest of Istanbul, which is the ascendant monarchy of the Ottoman Empire.

2 Mehmed the Conquerer Period (1451-1481) (II): Conquests in the Balkans and Anatolia, Conquests on Seas, Expansion on the Black Sea, Aegean Islands and Dalmatia.
3 Mehmed the Conquerer Period (1451-1481) (III): Ottoman – Qaraman and Ottoman – Aqqouyunid Struggles.
4 Bayezid II Period (1481-1512) (I): Cem Sultan Problem, Sahkulu Revolt.
5 Bayezid II Period (1481-1512) (II): Struggles in Anatolia and the Balkans. Struggle with Shia.
6 Yavuz Sultan Selim Period (1512-1520) (I): Struggle with Shia, Struggle with Mameluk Empire.
