Course Content
Kuruluşundan 1453 yılına kadar Osmanlı Devleti'nin siyasi tarihi: Osmanlı ailesi, Kayılar ve Ertuğrul Bey, Osman Bey ve Osmanlı Beyliği'nin kurulması. Osmanlı – Bizans ilişkileri, Türklerin Rumeli'ye geçişi. Yıldırım Beyazıt dönemi. Yıldırım Beyazıt ve Timur ilişkileri. Fetret Devri, II. Murat devri siyasi olayları.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to examine the students the political, social and economic events that took place during the period from the establishment of the Ottoman State to the conquest of Istanbul; the situation of Anatolia in this period; the conditions under which the Ottoman Beylik emerged and developed; to understand the discussions in the scientific world about the establishment and growth of the Ottoman Principality.
