Course Content
The course covers advanced risk assessments in normal and high-risk pregnancies, foetal health monitoring, and the use of innovative technologies, starting with the fundamental principles of antenatal care. Psychosocial support, nutrition and lifestyle interventions, multidisciplinary approaches, and clinical decision-making processes are addressed within the scope of the course. Furthermore, students develop their knowledge and skills through interactive presentations and seminars on topics such as current research, digital tools, cross-cultural differences, and alternative care methods, strengthening their critical thinking and clinical practice competencies at the postgraduate level.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to ensure that students learn the current, evidence-based and multidisciplinary practices of antenatal care in normal and high-risk pregnancies. Students will acquire new knowledge at postgraduate level and gain skills in clinical decision-making, risk assessment and developing innovative care strategies. The course aims to enhance students' competence in providing safe, effective and holistic care, taking into account the ethical, cultural and psychosocial dimensions of antenatal care processes.
