Measurement and Evaluation Methods

Measurement-evaluation and monitoring methods have been developed and implemented to prove the achievement of program outcomes. In order to evaluate the program outcomes, the syllabuses of all courses and especially the learning outcomes were evaluated and completed by the department faculty members, based on the meeting organized by the Rectorate. The ways in which the learning outcomes for each course will be measured are presented in the Bologna Information System, including face-to-face/blended/distance education. A form has been prepared and used to reveal the relationship between learning outcomes and program outcomes for each course, methods to evaluate learning outcomes, distribution of questions to evaluate learning outcomes, question-learning outcome relationship, and the relationship between learning outcomes and program outcomes. Afterwards, the Curriculum and Program Outcome Relationship table, which shows the exam averages measuring the program outcomes, is used, taking into account the Course Assessment-Evaluation Monitoring Form. Finally, the averages are calculated with a table showing the relationship between the education plan and program outcomes, including compulsory courses and elective courses.
