Course Content
In this course; psychopathology and mental health observed in individuals of all ages. health assessment, psychiatric rehabilitation, counseling, psychoeducation, health promotion programs, community mental health problems, behavior and mood problems observed in the patient, etc. focuses on applied psychosocial nursing approaches. Students work with the client (patient) in the clinic for at least eight hours a week, and receives supervision. In line with the data collected in the clinic, theory and to develop opinions and suggestions for the integration of the application. is focused.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable graduate students in mental health and psychiatric nursing to develop advanced psychosocial nursing skills while working with individuals and families in clinical and community-based settings; to observe and evaluate the processes of establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with a focus on healing, empowerment, and maturation; and to develop advanced insights and recommendations by analyzing evidence-based approaches in the fields of psychopathology and mental status assessment, psychiatric rehabilitation, counseling, psychoeducation, health promotion, and community mental health within a theory-practice framework, accompanied by clinical practice and supervision.
