Course Content
Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives and Land Registry Cadastre Kuyud-ı Kadime Archive will be introduced, sample documents will be given. The works of Ottoman historiographers and historians from 1300 to 1700 will be examined.
Objectives of the Course
To enable the students to read the Ottoman archives easily and to understand the Ottoman historiography.
