Course Content
Prime Ministry Archives and General Directorate of Foundations Archives will be introduced, sample documents will be given. The works of Ottoman historiographers and historians from 1700 to 1920 will be examined.
Objectives of the Course
To enable the students to read the Ottoman archives easily and to understand the Ottoman historiography.
