Course Content
Central government, Divan-ı Hümayun, Divan-ı Hümayun's historical development, Divan-ı Hümayun members, Veziriazam, Kubbealti Vezirleri, Kazasker, Defterdar, Nişancı, Reisülküttap. Divan-ı Hümayun items, the officials of Divan-ı Hümayun, bureaucratic operations of Divan-ı Hümayun. Shaykh al-Islam. The provincial organization in the Ottomans.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to be able to teach the functioning of the central and provincial organizations of the Ottoman State to the students.
