Course Content
Definition of archeology, field of study, methods used, archaeological dating; discovering different experiences of mankind in the past such as marriage, nutrition, trade, technology; Turkey and uncovered important archaeological centers at the world like Çatalhöyük, Troy, Hattushash, famous Turkish and foreign archaeologists.
Objectives of the Course
This course aims to provide students with a basic idea of archeology and to make students have a general idea about this science and to be able to relate it to their field.
